As we enter into the 3rd quarter of 2019, the team is in position to make some pivots and transitions as a group. As a company and brand, Soul Surplus is beginning to walk into rooms where the door was previously closed. Whether it’s major music labels, or working with well-known super-producers, or crafting soundscapes for digital documentaries, the team continues to grow in areas outside of the sample pack world.
As all of these new opportunities sprout up and continue to grow, so has our number of supporters. Over time we’ve seen how much our supporters enjoy glimpses behind the scenes. “The Office” series has slowly become a favorite, and we figured now would be the perfect time to put more effort and time into delivering more episodes, and episodes that are actually longer and made to watch on a bigger screen with speakers! The new episodes will be in 4K, and closer to a half hour in time lapse.
Most of these episodes will take place in music studios, and the main purpose is to just document the process. We hope you guys enjoy this longer form piece, and let us know what you think in the comment section below!
