Welcome to our first episode of 2019 of The Office series, where we take an in-depth look at what projects our team is currently working on. In today's episode, we catch up with Smythe, who is currently working on remixing the entire "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" album. We were able to capture candid footage of the process, as well as talk to him about why this project is so significant.
Smythe makes mention of how important Phoenix's 2009 breakout release was to him, and how it influenced the music that he makes today. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the release of "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" and a fresh perspective of each song is only fitting to celebrate one of the most influential indie-rock albums ever released.
