Memorable Rock Samples In Hip-Hop

As many of you know, we released The Black Pack sample pack last week. Over the last 8-10 weeks we've made an effort to introduce an eclectic sample pack in our library the first week of the month. We're known primarily for soul, but we wanted to make sure we're changing up from time to time, and offering a new sound to our growing collection of music. While finishing up this particular project, a great discussion ensued, on some of the greatest rock samples in hip-hop in recent memory. We figured we would share a few we considered some of the most memorable.

The Doors - Five To One (JAY-Z "Takeover")

Supertramp - Crime Of The Century (Fabolous - Breathe)

King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man (Kanye West - Power)

Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side (A Tribe Called Quest - Can I Kick It?)

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (Ice-T - Midnight)
